MORAVSKÝ ARCHÍV VÍN - Moravian Archive Wine Cellar, is a wine restaurant with traditional Czech and Moravian cuisine and an unusual choice of wines from Moravian wine-producing regions.

It has been recently completely reconstructed and refurbished and offers 85 seats at tables (a club room for 20 persons, a non smoking room for 15 persons, the main restaurant room for 35 persons and other 15 places in the open-air garden). It can easily serve over 120 guests in "standing" parties.

In the past thirteen years of existence it has organiízed for its clients a great number of weddings, parties, seminars, meetings etc. For individuals it can arrange accommodation in the building where it is situated or in its vicinity.

Moravian Archive Wine Cellar is a restaurant which builds its reputation on the best traditions of Czech and Moravian hospitality. It offers its guests a very good selection of specialties of the Czech and Moravian cuisine, including, for example, smoked pork with horse-raddish, potato pancakes, pork cracklings, various kinds of goulashes in a fresh bread loaf, poutry and fish delicatessen, etc. The pearl of its kitchen is a baked duck roulade served with red and white cabbage and potato or bread dumplings. There is a big choice of salads, vegetarian dishes and desserts.

The excellent cuisine is accompanied by a large selection of red and white wines, dry and semi-sweet, most of them marked as "noble late harvest" or "selection of grapes", including sweeter and more alcoholic "straw" and "ice" wines from selected areas of Moravia . Lovers of good Czech beer can choose between draft Budvar and bottled Pilsner beer. Alcohol-free beer is also availlable.

The restaurant organizes a great number of wine-tasting ceremonies for its guests. It can arrange a private wine-tasting party according to wishes of the client.

One of its special services are sighteseeing and wine-tasting trips to wine-producing regions of Moravia.This service includes transport, accommodation and visits of typical Moravian wine cellars where visitors can not only taste but also buy selected wines according to their individual taste. You can take part in short or longer trips to Moravia. The first ones are for one day only, the other for two or more days. (We offer commissions in cash to travel agencies or agents who bring us clients for such trips.)

A guarded car parking is 150meters away from the restaurant (Karlovo náměstí).
